La Iglesia

What you see here is an unfinished product of what God has for this church. They call this church the dirt church. Before it looked like this it was all dirt and all they had was a tarp to cover the top. Little by little God is building His church. This Friday Andy is building a sound booth.


The people in the area where the church is located have a poverty mentality. One day when Karyn and a team were picking up trash in the neighborhood, she found a colored piece of tile. When she went home she got a hold of a gold plate and on it she created a blue cross using the piece she found. She shared with me that she really felt like that piece of tile was symbolic. That amongst the "trash" is something BEAUTIFUL. It's a picture of hope and destiny for this area.
