True love for Jesus will always choose Him when faced with an alternative. If, for example, Jesus calls someone to the mission field, then for Jesus' sake he leaves his native land. This could involve separation from loved ones, including children, and possibly even-albeit temporarily-his wife. Love for one's country and family has to take second place. Jesus can only be our true love, our first love, if our love for Him takes priority and, when having to choose between Jesus or people and things, we choose Him. -"My All for Him" Basilea Schlink
After reading this you may be in total agreement or maybe your not and this seems too extreme. Where ever you are in your beliefs I pray that you will get a deeper revelation of the cross. When you truly understand the price Jesus paid for your sin, this type of surrender is easy. For those of you who have been in love know that you would do anything for that person. Your life and needs become irrelevant and its all about the other person. It's the same thing. Ahhh!!! we need to fall deeper in love with Jesus. We need a greater revelation of His love for us.
