Back Home

I can hardly believe it's been a week since I've been back. I've been spending most of my time catching up with family and friends. It's been great getting to share with them all the amazing things God did during those 7 weeks in Mexico. It's been a bit challenging trying to condense everything, as well as finding the right words to explain all that went on. I've found myself often using the word "refreshing" in response to the question, "How was your trip?".
It was refreshing because...
  • One, all the alone time I got to spend with God. I really felt like it was a time of enjoying Him and learning to how to hear His voice. Not only for me but for others as well.
  • Also, just being among a Christian family who genuinely love spending time with one another, really ministered to me. I guess knowing that soon Sam and I will be married, these type of things stand out to me.
  • And the fact that I was able to do a lot of personal ministry with women was really awesome. I love seeing people get set free.
  • Let me not forget singing with the FIRE band was whole lot of fun. Now that I'm back home all I want to do is dance and worship Jesus.

So, I must say Thank You for making this trip possible. I appreciate your prayers, financial support, and even just reading my blog. It was such an encouragement to read the comments you guys wrote. I am truly blessed to have friends and family that support me in what I do. Thank you again for all your love and support.

Love, Natalie

Pictures from Sunday morning service

Now it's time to say goodbye...

Well time has come to an end. I will be leaving Guadalajara tomorrow afternoon. It's been such an amazing time.  This weekend I got to spend some quality time with the family and Sarah. I had blast. Friday we went to one of Karyn’s friends house. Her name is Charlotte. She is an American woman who lives in Mexico. She’s 70’s years old and loves the Lord and is still serving Him. I had such a great time listening to her talk.  There’s just something about being in the presence of an experienced, seasoned woman of God. Makes me want to pull out a pad and pen and take notes. Aside from fruitful conversations we got to swim in her pool and enjoy her beautiful home.

Saturday, I went shopping with the family. And then met up with Sarah afterward for sushi and more shopping. Woo hoo!!! Sushi and Shopping!

Sunday, Andy was invited to preach at a church and I got to minister and sing with the FIRE Band. Side note: I’m really going to miss doing worship with them. Afterwards we hurried back home ate real quick, and headed toward the lake to minister at a home group. It was a long day but after a couple games and some dance performances we regained our energy. When we came back home we played “Murder in the Dark” (kind of like hide-and-go-seek). Yup, you read that right, there were 6 adults and 2 teens, 8 people playing in total, running around in a dark house looking for the person hiding. There’s hardly ever a dull moment at the Pricer house. You’re never too old to play games. I’ve learned 3 new card games being out here.

I’m going to miss them. I’ve had such a great time getting to know them and ministering with them. I've enjoyed seeing how they function as a family and the love and honor they have for one another. They’re blessing!Hopefully I will be seeing them in the near future at F.I.R.E mission conferences.

Thanks for everything...Andy, Karyn, Hunter, Julia, Sarah, Chase, Pruetts, Davids and Jones family.
Love and appreciate you guys!

Sharing my testimony at FIRE Mexico

Teaching @ Supernatural School of Ministry Guadalajara

It's all about Intimacy

Tuesday, March 13, 2012

These last two days have been pretty exciting. Sunday night I got to share my testimony with the church. I shared it in Spanish, Andy encouraged me to write it in Spanish and to read it. I thought...that's kind of awkward but he told me that when he first starting learning Spanish he preached most of his messages that way. And the people responded. So I asked Sarah my housemate/friend = ) to help me. At first I was a little nervous, I guess because I was reading it in Spanish. But after awhile I got comfortable. I shared how in my faithlessness God was still faithful. After that Andy shared a message that went right along with my testimony about God being with us during the hard times.

Yesterday, I taught English for the first time. I taught basic phonics and articles of clothing. It was a little harder than I thought. I had to keep in mind that they don't speak English yet. After English class I taught one of the bible school classes. It was called "Creating a Meeting Place". One my favorite subjects ; ) Basically intimacy with God. I enjoyed sharing what I've learned and experienced with the students. They're a really great group. They all genuinely love the Lord and want more of Him. It's always a pleasure sharing with hungry people.

Time is flying. I will be home, exactly a week from today. Gotta soak everything up before I leave...

Jesus Heals!

Sharing in Mexico City about how Jesus healed my sister.
A few weeks ago my father took my sister to a neurologist to get an MRI done. When they ran the tests they didn't find any brain injury. Isn't that amazing!?! I got to share this testimony with the church and I believe the people were encouraged. Afterward we prayed for those with sickness and pain and many were healed.
Come on Jesus!

Tonight we took a trip to Sergio's house (the family from el centro). The fact that we made it to his house was definitely a God thing. We were around the area in which he lived but had no clue where it was. All we knew was the name of the owner of the house. So we stopped at a corner store to ask if anyone knew the house or the family and guess what? We seen Sergio's son there. He led us to his home and we met up with the rest of the family. We got to do worship and Andy shared a word with them. We had good time. I absolutely love their kids. My favorite is Christopher the youngest boy, he's six years old. He's always smiling and giggling. He tries to teach us Nahuatl.

I believe Andy will be visiting them on Tuesdays in the morning. We're praying that his family members would join us and in the near future possibly planting a house church.

Come on Jesus!

Singing with the FIRE band

Familia Piña

Karyn and Andy Pricer

At the YWAM base in Mexico City

Back from Mexico City...

God is so much fun! He really is. I'm realizing more and more I don't want religion. There's so much freedom in Him. This weekend was a blast. I would say the highlight of the trip was singing with the FIRE Band. Although everything seemed to go wrong, it didn't hinder the praise and worship. Karyn Pricer not only has an amazing voice but she's completely free and open to the Holy Spirit. It was such a privilege to be able to sing alongside of her and her daughter Julia. For the first time singing on stage was fun for me.

We were with Pastor Victor and his wife Cecy at their church Agua Viva in Tlahuac, D.F. On this trip I got to meet some pretty amazing people. While I was out there I stayed with the Pina family and two of the students. Which meant I had to speak Spanish the whole time. I think I did well. I had my moments where I struggled but over all...not too bad. Anyways, I was so blessed by this family. They have a powerful testimony of how God transformed their lives. I was truly humbled by them. By faith they agreed to host us. They were hesitant because they had no functioning shower and very little funds. However they agreed and right before we came they were able to get a boiler and hook up a shower. They spoiled us with love and yummy food. They shared with us how it was a blessing for them to host us. They truly displayed the heart of Christ not only to us but to their family and neighbors. I got to see this for myself.

The pastor and his wife were also very sincere.I didn't get to spend alot of time with them. But I got see them interact with their congregation and seen the love that they had for them. Their praying and believing for Revival in Mexico. It was really cool because on Monday we went to the socalo with them in Mexico City and met a guy from YWAM. We believe it was a divine connection. Because they had been praying to link up with other ministries in the city. The pastors were really excited and are looking forward to what God is going to do.

I'm glad I got to go on this trip. I got to share the testimony of how God has healed and is healing my sister with the congregation. After I spoke the students came up and shared what God was showing them and then we got to pray for those things. It was powerful! God healed many that were sick.

There's so much that happened...I don't have the words or the time to share all of it.

One thing's for sure...
I love being a part of what God is doing.
